i change it to a private network (though it automatically changes it back when i restart.) and still no internet. so i bring it home, it hooks up to my Network, but no internet. it was working fine apparently, but then out of the blue the internet will no longer work. It is a driver for the ENE CIR Receiver, the InfraRed receiver developed by ENE Technology, to enable your InfraRed hardware, to receive the InfraRed commands from the remote devices, for example, a mouse, the HP Media remote control, etc. Im suspecting a bad Windows 7 install or maybe some type of hardware resource conflict that is not related to the actual drivers. ok so a buddy at work asked if i could look at a laptop. Start menu -> Right click Computer -> Properties -> Advanced System Settings (top left) -> Hardware -> Windows Update Drivers Settings -> Select "Never check for drivers when I connect a device. Netflix movie viewer error 'Netflix says its related to my video driver' I have reinstalled the ENE CIR Driver, the Graphics Driver, the sound driver, the DVD player driver all several times, to no avail. Have you tried steps like these (from a message board post): This driver is for ENE CIR RECEIVER compatible with Remote Control of HP PAVILION DV5-1140LA or DV5-1143LA on Windows XP and Windows Vista 32 and 64.
